What Makes Pinnacle Different
Pinnacle tiles aren't printed designs or large-format imitations. They're real mosaics; each color in the pattern is a separate tile, mesh-mounted into the finished design. That means you get:
- Authentic mosaic depth and texture, not a flat printed look
- Real grout lines between each tile (the way historic patterns were built)
- The durability of glazed or unglazed porcelain, rated for floors and walls
- Made-to-order flexibility, so you can swap colors within most patterns
Pattern Categories
Pinnacle is organized into a few main groupings, so it's easier to find your style:
- Hexagon Patterns: Our largest category. Includes Nine Rose, Diamond and Dot, Rose & Trellis, Double Diamonds, Vanoise, Bordeaux, Honeycomb, Polka Dot, and Round and Round, among others.
- Penny Round Patterns: Designs like Diamond Trellis, built from 3/4" penny rounds for a softer, more vintage feel.
- Square Borders: Greek Key Border and Greek Key Block Chain Border, designed to frame a field tile installation in either Lyric Glazed Square or Retro Block.
Retro Patterns: Retro Rosette, Satin Rosette and Quad, and Matte Modage, all with a clear nod to mid-century and earlier design.
Where to Use Pinnacle Tiles
Pinnacle tile patterns work in nearly any room, but they earn their keep in spaces where you want a focal point:
- Bathroom floors, especially in powder rooms and primary baths
- Shower floors and accent walls
- Kitchen backsplashes (the Greek Key borders are made for this)
- Entryways, mudrooms, and hallway runs
- Commercial lobbies, restaurants, and boutiques
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Pinnacle tiles custom or made to order?
Most Pinnacle patterns are made to order in 1 - 3 weeks. Sample approval is required prior to production, so make sure to order color samples first
Can I change the colors in a Pinnacle pattern?
Any of our patterns can be customized with any combination of colors from three hexagon lines. Usually, customization does not affect the cost or the lead time.
Are Pinnacle patterns suitable for floors?
Yes. Our porcelain Pinnacle tiles are rated for floor use in bathrooms, kitchens, and high-traffic commercial spaces. Matte glazed or unglazed porcelain offer the best slip resistance.
